Tanisha’s journey to founding Thank You Real Estate is one of passion, resilience, and purpose. Having moved to Australia from India over 15 years ago as a skilled migrant, she began her career in Information Technology, building on her professional foundation from back home. While working in the corporate sector, her dedication to growth led her to complete a Master of Information Systems from the University of Melbourne.

Yet, even with a successful IT career, Tanisha felt a deeper calling—entrepreneurship. Growing up in a family of business owners—her father in land development and construction, and her mother a salon owner—she always believed she could create something meaningful and contribute to the community in her own way. With the support of her husband, she explored several small business ventures that, while not long-term pursuits, offered invaluable experience and clarity.

Her true passion revealed itself when she stepped into the world of real estate. Tanisha and her family moved to Sydney, where she completed her real estate training with an outstanding 94% score from REINSW and gained valuable experience working with local agencies. Confident in her vision, she launched Thank You Real Estate in November 2019. Within weeks, the agency secured its first sales and rental listings—marking the beginning of a remarkable journey.

Despite the challenges along the way, including the impact of COVID-19, Tanisha’s unwavering commitment, combined with the support of her family, friends, and loyal clients, kept the business growing. The agency has since expanded, welcomed new team members, strengthened its social media and online presence, and built a strong foundation for continued success.
